Viber (pronounced vaybar) is a VoIP-application (Internet phone chat program) smartphone operating platforms Android, BlackBerry OS, iOS, Symbian, Windows Phone, Bada and computers under the control of Windows, OS X and Linux. Integrates into the address book and authorize a phone number. It allows you to talk for free over Wi-Fi networks and 3G (paid only traffic over the Internet) between smartphones installed Viber. You may also send text messages, pictures, video and audio.
Viber originally released for the iPhone on December 2, 2010 preliminary version for Android was released in May 2011, but had limited to 50 000 customers; the final version was released on July 19, 2012  Viber for BlackBerry, Bada and Windows Phone was released on May 8, 2012 On May 7, 2013 released updates iOS app to version 3.0 to Release which was announced the availability of Viber Desktop for Windows and OS X.
On January 14, 2014 Japanese electronics company Rakuten announced its intention to buy Viber for 900 million dollars. The deal was finalized in February 2014
