Where are computers actually made?

Almost all major companies such as Apple, HP, DELL, Lenovo are brands whose interior (printed circuit board, components, cooling) is manufactured and sometimes completely designed by external subcontractors such as:
Foxconn (Taiwan) is the world’s largest electronics maker, with Apple Macbook, DELL and HP high-end laptops, Sony Playstation, Microsoft Xbox, Apple iPhone, Motorola, Nokia, Xiaomi, Canon cameras, original Intel motherboards;
Quanta (Taiwan) is the largest laptop maker in the world today. They produce for Apple, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, Alienware, Amazon.com, Cisco, Fujitsu, Gericom, Lenovo, LG, Maxdata, MPC, BlackBerry, Sharp Corporation, Siemens AG, Sony, Sun Microsystems, Toshiba, Verizon Wireless and more.
Compal (Taiwan) is the second largest ODM laptop manufacturer after Quanta. Manufactures products from Acer, Lenovo, Toshiba, DELL, HP and Fujitsu Siemens. Compal is a mass maker of the cheapest series of companies, but its products are the Alienware motherboards from the above series.
Flextronics-Arima (Singapore) is a major OEMs company, one of the most famous of which is HP, Microsoft, Apple, Ford, Cisco, Huwei, Alcatel and Intel;
Wistron (Taiwan) arises as a division of Acer. In 2008, Purchases Lite-On monitors manufacturing capacities. A big ODM maker, perhaps gaining the greatest prestige with the OEM industry of the ThinkPad. An example of Wistron’s great product is the ThinkPad W700 motherboard;
Inventec (Taiwan), a large ODM manufacturer, designing models for HP, Toshiba, Acer and Fujitsu-Siemens. The prestige of the company is reinforced by the quality of the HP Elitebook Mobile Workstation series;
Pegatron (Taiwan) is part of the much-known Asus company. Produce and design something for everyone;
Qisda (Taiwan) is the OEM / ODM part of a company whose own products bear the name BENQ. Qisda is actually the new name of BENQ, who shamefully overwhelmed the name of the Siemens phones. BENQ himself was once part of the Acer concern.
Elitegroup (Taiwan) is the fifth-largest PC motherboard manufacturer in the world, but also an OEM manufacturer, mainly due to the acquisition of Uniwill;
MiTAC (Taiwan) is a company with a great past, now producing navigation, motherboards, server solutions (Tyan). The company has been known as an IBM OEM contractor since the dawn of computer technology and is one of the pioneers of the Taiwanese computer industry.
Special attention is paid to Clevo (Taiwan). It’s a super-maker whose main name for super games is Sager. Clevo are the top-ranked machines of companies with ultra-gaming machines such as Eurocom, Deviltech, Rock, M-Tech, Pro Star, Pudget, Vigor, Voodoo PC and others.
Only Japanese companies can manufacture their products themselves without the help of Taiwanese subcontractors. It is a question of the elite, pure Japanese series Toshiba (Tecra and Portege), Fujitsu (Lifebook and Celsius). The Panasonic Toughbook is also Japanese.
As with real-world cars, real laptops are very different in quality, strength and engineering from mass products.
More about the differences:
Genuine laptops have a magnesium chassis, and in the case of the ThinkPad of the high-end series, they also have a Magnesium Roll Cage, which is precisely this series of NASA’s favorite for all space missions in history;
Components, the board itself are much better than those in the mass consumer products. In real laptops, there is much better processor, chipset, memory, graphics chip optimization, and other controllers. Cooling systems on real laptops are costly, efficient and unattended for decades. That’s why they always work faster, cooler, more reliable than much newer consumer laptops.
The monitoring, diagnostic, automation systems of the quality laptop are much more sophisticated and reliable than those designed for sale in hypermarkets for white and black equipment;
Genuine laptops have real driver support, specialized software, many interesting software options and BIOS. Even the operating systems are launching the real machines, providing them with more optimal performance.
